Scan-to-rent QR codes for physical boards
Why the printed QR should never change when the advertiser does — and how BCITiny trackers fit with BC Ad Space landings.
A physical board should carry one permanent QR for that placement. When someone scans it, they should land on that board's public page — stats, price, availability, and Rent now — not a generic marketing site.
BC Ad Space creates the landing. BCITiny (YOURLS) hosts the short URL and QR tracker. The printed code encodes the tracker URL. If the public host or destination path changes, repair the YOURLS original URL; do not reprint every board.
Roadway traffic (AADT) on the landing is a verified vehicle/day snapshot. It is not a count of people who saw the ad. QR scan counts are separate and come from BCITiny stats pulled into a local cache — never hit the shortener or DOT APIs on every page view.
